I don't know about you fellow worker bees out there, but I find it near impossible to find the time to pamper myself anymore. Working 9-5 - what a way to make livin' (couldn't resist!) - and commuting an hour and a half each way leaves me hardly anytime to eat and catch up with Made in Chelsea (yes, I have a very poor taste in TV), let alone do my nails...

I'm hoping that my next placement will be nearer to home but until then, I will continue to attempt to keep my nails interesting in the least time-consuming way possible. If you've read any of my blog posts before, you'll know that I am obsessed with geometric shapes. I recently saw some lovely nail designs on google, which although I have neither the time or skill to recreate, I thought I'd have a go at creating my own far simpler version with sellotape.

HOW I DID IT...

1. Paint all over with colour one2. Leave colour one to dry3. Place sellotape diagonally across the nail4. Paint over the exposed nail with colour two5. Whilst colour two is tacky, gently peel sellotape off6. Leave colour two to dry completely7. Place sellotape the other way across the nail8. Paint over the exposed nail with colour three9. Whilst colour three is tacky, gently peel sellotape off10. Leave colour three to fully dry

...and voila!
